Hello everyone,
My name is Andrew Good but known as (Jock).     I work out of North Taranaki area and have since 1986.   I started my career in Pio Pio in 1978 with Graeme Jones and spent 8 wonderful years up there with Graeme and Sue, before getting married to my wife Helen and moving back to the Taranaki .   We spent 7 years working in pre training and breaking in young ones for John Wheeler in racing stables plus shoeing horses part time before I went back full time again in 1993.  It didn’t take long for the business to grow and staff was needed.  I have trained 4 Apprentices over the years Laine Cameron, Ryan Harris-Hayes, Tim Myers and Jordan Liggett-Bowring and all so had the late George Harrop on the team.    It has been a great career for me taking me around the world learning all the  time and trying to improve.
I am now involved with the administration side of our NZFA and am currently President.  I’ve enjoyed working with young people over the years to help improve my and their skills but now I’m slowing down just a little to enjoy my life and my job.
